Established in 2013, Stone&Skillet grew to become the hottest thing since sliced bread. However, their brand expression became stale over the years and especially on retail shelves. Wedge was brought in at a key moment of growth to evolve towards a more distinctive and ownable look for Stone&Skillet. One that would help them stand out in the category, boost shelf appeal, and create a flexible system for future expansion. The design approach leaned into a key asset the brand was already identified by, and made it stronger: The skillet— modernizing its expression alongside a vibrant color palette, bold typography, elevated visuals shot by fashion photographer Paul Hempstead, and a scalable system that’s made to love and made to last.
