Honest, artisanal craft that’s made to love & made to last.
Established in 2013, Stone&Skillet grew from a farmer’s market favorite to 3,000 retail doors and climbing. Its identity hadn’t kept pace with its product success.
Wedge was enlisted to carve a distinct and ownable identity and build shelf presence in a crowded category that could allow Stone&Skillet to grow.
The design approach: Build an identity that builds equity in the name. The solution was found in the skillet. A strong symbol that provided the baseline for a whole new ecosystem that finds its signature in warmth, rich color, a nod to heritage, and modernity through photography.
Brand imagery steps outside of traditional food marketing by pulling in fashion photographer Paul Hempstead to convey the authenticity of how food actually lives in our daily lives.
